I actually liked this story. It made me laugh and feel akward at times. Funny because the way the detective or "he" was asking the women the questions were very detailed if not badgering her. He would ask her "what kind of top you wearing?" or, "Did you smile when you walked by him" saying like as she was teasing the man who accusedly "raped" her or touched. In reality, cases like these, the detectives would ask a lot of questions. Reason why is because they want to make sure they dont false accuse the "suspect". I like the way Arlene Hutton wrote this story. It was short, told the whole story and it intrigued me. But it sucks to be reminded how women are assaulted these days.
I felt the same way about this story at first im like ok so many questions and some did make me laugh but then others were very awkward. It sad when victims get re assaulted
